In her own words

I wanted to share how impressed I have been with the West 6 Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation Programme over the last 18 months. One of the biggest things I learned was that pelvic floor exercises aren't just about squeezing your muscles—they're about learning how to perform the exercises correctly and understanding how to progressively build strength over time. The programme also helped me understand something I wish I'd known years ago: leaking and urinary incontinence after childbirth are not normal and shouldn't just be accepted as something you have to live with. After both of my children, I had used the NHS Squeezy app and thought I was doing everything I could to improve my symptoms. However, I was performing my exercises in sitting, and I now realise I had never built the foundations needed to strengthen my pelvic floor effectively. The West 6 programme taught me to go back to basics. Starting in lying allowed me to correctly activate and retrain my pelvic floor before gradually progressing through more challenging positions. Working through the programme step by step gave me confidence that I was strengthening my pelvic floor in the right way, rather than simply repeating exercises and hoping for the best. The structured progression was what made the difference. Rather than wondering whether I was doing the exercises correctly or when I should make them harder, the programme guided me through each stage, helping me build strength safely and effectively. I would highly recommend the West 6 Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation Programme to any woman experiencing leaking or pelvic floor weakness. It doesn't just provide exercises—it helps you understand your body, improve your technique and progressively rebuild your pelvic floor with confidence.

Your goal doesn't have to be a Commonwealth medal.

Whether your goal is running after your children, returning to the gym, playing netball again or competing internationally, rehabilitation follows the same principles.

Every woman deserves to feel strong, confident and in control of her body again.
